Understand endpoint credit costs, plan rate limits, daily caps, and practical usage planning before moving Crawlora into production.
How credits work
Credits measure API usage. Different endpoints may use different credit amounts depending on complexity, browser-backed rendering, upstream behavior, or normalization work.
Endpoint credit costs
Credit costs below come from the frontend billing constants used by pricing and endpoint docs. Endpoint detail pages repeat the same value when available.

Daily caps
Daily caps help prevent accidental overuse. A plan with no daily cap still has monthly credits, rate limits, and account-level controls.
What happens when you hit limits
You may receive a rate-limit, quota, or plan-related error. Reduce throughput, wait for reset behavior, upgrade, or review billing state in the console.
How to estimate usage
monthly credits = monthly requests * credits per request
Example: 500 keywords checked daily for 30 days is 15,000 monthly requests. Required credits are 15,000 multiplied by the endpoint credit cost shown in the endpoint docs.
Best practices
- Batch thoughtfully when an endpoint supports it
- Cache repeated lookups
- Back off on 429 responses
- Monitor API-key usage
- Use the pricing calculator
- Set internal quotas
- Avoid unnecessary refreshes
