Indeed API endpoint
Returns Indeed's own location-search autocomplete suggestions for a partial location string -- the same suggestions the app's search bar offers -- for building a valid `l` value for search.
/indeed/locations/suggestQuery parameters:
q (required): partial location text, e.g. Austin.limit: max suggestions to return, defaults to 10, maxes at 25.Notable response behavior:
suggestions array (not an error).suggestions[].name is the exact string Indeed's own autocomplete formats (e.g. distinguishing two same-named cities in different counties/states) — pass it back verbatim as /indeed/search's l parameter.| Field | Filled in, of 10 checked | Values in the sample |
|---|---|---|
| name | 10 | “Austin, TX (Travis County)” and 9 other values |
| source | 10 | PRECISELY in all 10 |
