Returns the featured public ground directory snapshot and the country index used to discover Cricinfo venue pages. Use the existing venue endpoint for detailed ground profiles.

How this endpoint behaves

Query parameters:

limit (optional): maximum featured ground records returned from 1 to 100; defaults to 20.

Returns the featured ground snapshot published by Cricinfo's public ground directory, together with its country index. The directory page currently supplies a bounded featured result set, so limit only bounds the records present in that snapshot; it does not paginate the full ground catalog. Use /api/v1/cricinfo/venue with a canonical ground URL for a detailed profile.
