Datasets API endpoint
Returns up to 50 Reddit trending-facet buckets ordered by count, using the same filters as `datasets_reddit_trending_search`. Page and page_size do not change the aggregation. A snapshot_date facet without date spans all history; other facets use the search date scope, including the latest-snapshot default and full history for date_desc sort.
/datasets/reddit-trending/facetsMCP tool: datasets_reddit_trending_facets
Returns up to 50 value counts, ordered by count, over stored daily Reddit hot-feed
snapshots. The default query uses the latest snapshot; sort=date_desc or an
explicit date can select historical rows. Facets honor the filters used by
datasets_reddit_trending_search.
Required facet: subreddit, domain, or snapshot_date. When
facet=snapshot_date and date is omitted, counts span all stored history.
Other facets use the same date scope as search: latest snapshot by default,
full history for sort=date_desc, and only the requested day when date is
supplied.
Optional filters: q, subreddit, date, and sort. Sort values are rank
and date_desc. page and page_size are accepted for contract parity; counts
cover every matching snapshot row.
Sort values are validated against the corresponding search endpoint, but do not reorder facet results; buckets are always ordered by count.
Requires the x-api-key header. Costs 1 credit. An empty dataset returns an
empty items array.
