Apple Maps API endpoint
Returns Apple Maps' address record for a coordinate: the matched place name and type (an address, street, or area of interest such as a neighborhood), the formatted and structured address, the matched center, the IANA timezone, and the display region.
/apple-maps/reverse-geocodeQuery parameters:
latitude (required) — latitude to reverse-geocode, e.g. 37.7749.longitude (required) — longitude, e.g. -122.4194.lang (optional) — display language as a BCP 47 tag, e.g. en-US, ja-JP. Defaults to en-US.country (optional) — two-letter ISO 3166-1 code, e.g. US. Defaults to US.type is the kind of record Apple matched: ADDRESS, STREET, AOI (area of interest such as a neighborhood), or another Apple entity type. A coordinate Apple has no record for (open ocean) returns a 404.
Response includes latitude and longitude (as requested), name, type, address, address_info (street, neighborhood, city, county, state, state_code, postal_code, country, country_code), matched_latitude, matched_longitude, timezone (IANA identifier), and region (south, west, north, east).
