TikTok API endpoint
Returns the `pre_info_id` token the app attaches to a search session (with its TTL). The token is short-lived; the app requests one before the search stream and reuses it for the following calls.
/tiktok/mobile/search/pre-infoReturns the short-lived pre_info_id token the app attaches to a search session, with its TTL. The app requests one
before a search stream and reuses it for the following calls, so fetch one per search session rather than per query.
Measured 2026-10-20 on the aggr32-normal.tiktokv.us search edge: HTTP 200 with pre_info_id and ttl: 40.
Query parameters:
keyword: optional. Seed keyword; the app also requests this call with an empty keyword. Example: lofi.count: optional. Suggestion count (max 50). Default: 20.Notes:
pre_info_id is treated as an upstream error, because a token-less response is useless to a search
session.| Parameter | Type | Required | Default | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| x-api-key (header) | string | Yes | API key required | ||
| keyword | string | No | Seed keyword (optional; the app also requests this with an empty keyword) | lofi | |
