Raising Cane's API endpoint
Returns one Raising Cane's promotion's published official terms: title and official-rules text (eligibility, prize details, effective date), exactly as the promotion's own page publishes them, as separate paragraphs in publication order. Promotion paths come from GET /raisingcanes/promotions entries. A path with no promotion at it (expired, mistyped, or the empty path some index entries carry) returns a 404.
/raisingcanes/promotion| Param | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
path | yes | Promotion page slug from a /raisingcanes/promotions entry's path, e.g. first-50-promotion. |
Response includes title, description, path, source_url, and fetched_at.
description is Raising Cane's own official-rules text, kept as separate paragraphs in publication order rather than joined into one string — unlike a menu item's short blurb, promotion terms are often multi-paragraph legal text (eligibility, prize value, and effective date each their own paragraph), and the paragraph breaks carry real structure.
| Parameter | Type | Required | Default | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| path | string | Yes | Promotion page slug from a /raisingcanes/promotions entry's path | first-50-promotion | |
| x-api-key (header) | string | Yes | API key required |
