FiveGuys API endpoint
Returns Five Guys restaurants matching a free-text location query -- a city, a zip/postal code, a street address, or a landmark -- the same way restaurants.fiveguys.com's own locator search box works. Yext's own query understanding geocodes the text server-side, so no separate geocoding call is needed. Each result carries a full profile: a short area/plaza label distinguishing it from other locations, address, phone, weekly in-store hours plus a separate delivery-hours schedule when published, price tier, restaurant-amenity labels (e.g. Takeout, Dine In, Curbside), pickup/delivery service labels, order/delivery/menu URLs, a Google Place id, and distance in miles/kilometers from the resolved query location. `total_results` reports how many restaurants matched overall, usually more than one page; use `offset` to page. A query that resolves to nowhere Five Guys operates returns an empty list rather than an error.
/fiveguys/searchYext's own query understanding geocodes query server-side, so no separate geocoding call is needed: query=10001 and query=Chicago, IL both resolve to real nearby results directly.
Each result carries a full profile: address, phone, weekly in-store hours, a separate delivery-hours schedule (when Five Guys publishes one — it can close earlier than the dining room), price tier, restaurant-amenity labels (e.g. Takeout, Dine In, Curbside, Mobile Ordering), pickup/delivery service labels, order_url/delivery_url/menu_url, a Google Place id, and distance in miles/kilometers from the resolved query location. There is no separate, deeper store-detail endpoint in this family — a search result already carries the same depth a detail lookup would.
total_results is how many restaurants matched overall, which is usually more than one page. Page through it with offset.
Query parameters:
query (required, 2-200 characters) — free-text location: a city, a zip/postal code, a street address, or a landmark.limit (optional, default 10, max 50) — maximum restaurants to return.offset (optional, default 0) — result offset, for paging through total_results.Response includes query, locations[], count, total_results, source_url, and fetched_at. Each location has id, name (the generic brand name — use geomodifier to tell locations apart, e.g. "Medical District"), geomodifier, address, latitude, longitude, phone, hours (in-store, a Monday-first weekly schedule, each day carrying closed plus open_intervals[]), delivery_hours (same shape, omitted when Five Guys has not published a delivery schedule for this location — not always identical to hours), price_range, timezone, services[], pickup_and_delivery_services[], order_url, delivery_url, menu_url, website_url, path, google_place_id, distance_miles, and distance_kilometers.
