How this endpoint behaves

Path parameters:

id: CoinGecko coin slug/API id, for example bitcoin.

Query parameters:

vs_currency: Quote currency. Allowed values: btc, eth, ltc, bch, bnb, eos, xrp, xlm, link, dot, yfi, sol, usd, aed, ars, aud, bdt, bhd, bmd, brl, cad, chf, clp, cny, czk, dkk, eur, gbp, gel, hkd, huf, idr, ils, inr, jpy, krw, kwd, lkr, mmk, mxn, myr, ngn, nok, nzd, php, pkr, pln, rub, sar, sek, sgd, thb, try, twd, uah, vef, vnd, zar, xdr, xag, xau, bits, sats.
range: Chart range. Allowed values: 24h, max. Defaults to 24h.
include_annotations: Whether to request chart annotations. Defaults to false.

Notable response behavior:

The response includes first/last/min/max price, absolute change, percent change, high-low range percent, point count, and sampled points.
When include_annotations=true, available chart annotation objects are returned with annotations_source_url.
Malformed chart JSON, empty chart point arrays, and challenge pages return an upstream error.
