Cricbuzz API endpoint

Cricbuzz News topics API

Returns the current public News navigation sections and all topic cards linked from the Topics page, including IDs, slugs, titles, descriptions, and canonical URLs. Topic coverage is dynamic and is discovered from Cricbuzz at request time. The response contains topic metadata only, not story bodies; the Premium Editorials navigation entry is marked premium.

How this endpoint behaves

Query parameters:

q: optional, case-insensitive substring search over topic title, description, and slug; maximum 100 characters.

The response includes the current News navigation menu and every topic linked from Cricbuzz's Topics page, with IDs, slugs, labels, descriptions, and canonical URLs. Topic values change over time and are fetched from the live topic directory. This endpoint returns topic metadata only. It does not return article bodies. The premium-editorials menu entry is labeled premium for visibility and is not fetched.

Current News section values:

all-stories, premium-editorials, news, topics, spotlight, opinions, special, stats, interviews, live-blogs.
