SofaScore API endpoint

SofaScore Tournament Teams API

Returns every team (or, for tennis and other individual sports, every player) entered in a competition season, with id, name, short name, name code, country, gender, type (`0` team, `1` individual player) and, for individual players, the current ranking. Use the team ids with team, team-players and the `team` filter of tournament-player-statistics. A season id that does not belong to the competition, or a field not yet decided, answers 404. Get `id` from search and `season` from tournament-seasons.

How this endpoint behaves

Query parameters:

id: required. Numeric SofaScore unique-tournament (competition) id, e.g. 17 for the Premier League.
season: required. Numeric SofaScore season id from sofascore/tournament-seasons, e.g. 96668.

Notable response behavior:

type is SofaScore's competitor type: 0 for a team and 1 for an individual player. Other codes (for example doubles pairs) are passed through unchanged. ranking is present only for players that carry one.
country_code is SofaScore's two-letter code, which uses EN, SX, WA and NX for the home nations. sport is the sport key.
The list covers every competitor SofaScore ties to the season: 20 clubs for a Premier League season, 82 teams for the 2025/26 Champions League (qualifying included) and 105 players for a Masters 1000 tennis tournament. Use the ids with sofascore/team, sofascore/team-players and the team filter of sofascore/tournament-player-statistics.
A season id that does not belong to the competition makes SofaScore answer 200 with an empty list; that and a season with no competitors yet are both reported as 404.
