How this endpoint behaves

Query parameters: pass exactly one of id, path, or url. Also accepts:

sort (optional): grossToDate, maxNumTheaters, openingWeekendGross, openingNumTheaters, releaseDate
sortDir (optional): asc, desc
offset (optional): row offset for pagination, page size 100

Notable response behavior: id values must look like fr541495045; path values must look like /franchise/fr541495045/; url values must be absolute https://www.boxofficemojo.com/franchise/.../ URLs. Box Office Mojo paginates franchise detail tables at 100 rows/page with no total-count marker; has_more is true when this page returned a full 100 rows, signaling a further page may exist at offset + 100. sort/sort_dir are echoed in the response only when applied. Parser drift or upstream block pages return an upstream error instead of 200 []. A film with re-releases appears as several rows sharing one release name; release_note carries the label Box Office Mojo shows underneath to tell them apart (for example 2022 Re-release, 2010 Special Edition, 2012 3D Release) and is omitted for a film's original release.
