Yahoo Search API endpoint
Returns Yahoo's own search-box autocomplete suggestions for a partial query: a flat list of suggested search terms, each optionally carrying knowledge-panel entity metadata (type, image, subtitle, description) when Yahoo resolves the term to a known company, place, product, or similar entity rather than a plain phrase.
/yahoo-search/suggestQuery parameters:
q (required) — the partial search query to autocomplete.count (optional) — number of suggestions to return. Defaults to 10,
clamped to 1-20.Notable response behavior:
entity is omitted entirely for a plain phrase suggestion (not returned
as an empty object).suggestions array, not
