Numbeo API endpoint
Returns the global cost-of-living city ranking (Cost of Living, Rent, Cost of Living Plus Rent, Groceries, Restaurant Price, and Local Purchasing Power indices), either the continuously-updated current index or a historical periodic snapshot.
/numbeo/cost-of-living/rankingsQuery parameters:
scope (optional, default current). Allowed values: current, historical.period (required when scope=historical) — a Numbeo snapshot id, formatted YYYY or YYYY-mid, e.g. 2026-mid, 2025. Numbeo's earliest published snapshot is 2009.Response includes scope, period (echoed back when provided), cities[] (rank, city, city_slug, cost_of_living_index, rent_index, cost_of_living_plus_rent_index, groceries_index, restaurant_price_index, local_purchasing_power_index), source_url.
