TripAdvisor API endpoint
Returns a rich TripAdvisor place profile.
/tripadvisor/placeQuery parameters: pass either url with a TripAdvisor place URL, or id with a TripAdvisor location id fallback.
Returns a rich public TripAdvisor place profile. Existing top-level fields remain stable, and richer optional fields are returned when present: canonical URL, description, geo coordinates, phone, website URL, price, categories, cuisines, tags, features, amenities, opening hours, rank, awards, breadcrumbs, images, address parts, and useful public links.
Two URL shapes are additionally resolved through a faster, dedicated path rather than the general profile scrape: a destination overview page (.../Tourism-g<id>-<name>-Vacations.html, type in the response is geo) and a bookable tour/experience page (.../AttractionProductReview-g<geoId>-d<id>-<name>-<geo>.html, type is attraction_product). These two return a narrower field set than a full attraction/restaurant/hotel profile — expect title, geo_id, and canonical_url for a destination, plus rating, reviews, address, image/images, tags, and summary/description for a tour/experience — since a destination or a bookable product does not carry the same address/phone/hours data a physical venue does.
Raw upstream HTML, JSON-LD blobs, cookies, browser traces, and challenge-page content are intentionally not exposed.
