ReelShort API endpoint

ReelShort Drama Search API

Searches ReelShort (reelshort.com) short dramas by keyword and returns 12 titles per page: id, title, description, cover, link, episode count, tags, plays and favorites, with the page, page count and an approximate total. The search is fuzzy and the total varies between calls. Only public catalog metadata is read; no playable video is returned.

How this endpoint behaves

Query parameters:

keywords (required): the title text to search for, at most 100 characters.
page: optional page number, 1 to 200. Defaults to 1. Each page holds 12 titles.
language: optional site locale: en, es, pt, fr, de, it, ja, ko, th, id, tr, ar, ru, pl, ro, cs, bg, vi or zh-TW. Defaults to en. Results, titles and tags are translated.

Notable response behavior:

The search is fuzzy: a word that matches no title still returns the closest titles, and the same title can appear more than once when ReelShort lists several editions.
total is approximate; ReelShort's count varies between calls for the same query. Use total_pages and an empty books list to detect the end.
A page past the last one returns an empty books list, not an error.
Pass a result's id to reelshort-movie for its episode list.
