How this endpoint behaves

MCP tool: streeteasy_market_inventory

Returns monthly sales and rental inventory counts for every area in StreetEasy's public Data Dashboard datasets. The dashboard data is updated monthly; data_through reports the latest month in the source files. Neighborhood, borough, and city aggregates are all included as distinct areas.

Query parameters

start_month (optional): first month to return, inclusive, in YYYY-MM format. Defaults to the first month in the latest 12 months available.
end_month (optional): last month to return, inclusive, in YYYY-MM format. Defaults to the latest available month.
The range may not exceed 36 months or extend beyond the source data. The six-hour service cache may delay a newly published monthly refresh.
