Cricbuzz series API

Returns current and future series grouped by month, with series IDs, dates, and canonical URLs. Filter by the live route-backed category, the Live Streaming flag, or a local case-insensitive series-name substring. Live Streaming may validly return an empty result set when Cricbuzz has no matching entries at the time of the request.

How this endpoint behaves

Query parameters

category: optional directory category. Accepted values are all, international, domestic, league, and women. Cricbuzz displays league as T20 Leagues. If omitted, the endpoint uses all.
live_stream: optional boolean; true follows Cricbuzz's Live Streaming filter route. The filter can validly return no series for the current upstream snapshot.
q: optional case-insensitive substring search over series names, up to 100 characters. This is a local filter over the parsed series list.

The response preserves Cricbuzz's month groups and gives each series its ID, name, start/end dates, and canonical detail URL. The directory changes as series are announced or completed. Use this endpoint to discover series IDs and category values instead of hard-coding them.

When live_stream=true has no current entries, months is empty, total is 0, and empty_state is no_results. On upstream refresh failure, the service may return the last good snapshot with stale: true.
