API Reference
Use Crawlora's CarMax API endpoints to extract supported public CarMax data as structured JSON. This documentation covers 7 active endpoints including Search CarMax vehicle listings, Get CarMax search autocomplete suggestions, Get CarMax's "shop by brand" make taxonomy, Get CarMax store (physical location) detail, and related APIs. Developers can use these endpoints for monitoring, enrichment, research dashboards, internal data pipelines, and agent-native workflows without maintaining platform-specific scraping code. Each endpoint page documents authentication, request parameters such as search, id, stock_number, store_id, cURL examples, response examples, response schemas, errors, credit cost, and Playground testing. Send requests to the Crawlora API with an x-api-key header, review usage and plan limits on pricing, and test safe sample requests in Playground before moving the workflow into production.
Choose an endpoint, send an authenticated request with the x-api-key header, and inspect the normalized JSON response. The examples below use the public Crawlora API base URL and the same endpoint catalog used by Playground.

Credential-free public data sourced primarily from CarMax's own mobile-app API, backfilled with the website's server-rendered page for accident/owner history and warranty terms the mobile API doesn't expose.

/carmax/vehicle/{stock_number}/recommendationsapiKey1 credit/requestReturns CarMax's own similar-vehicle recommendations for a listing: stock number, description, display mileage/price, store location, and image, for vehicles CarMax considers comparable. An empty list is a normal result, not an error. Credential-free public data sourced from CarMax's own mobile-app API.
