Use a Yelp API to search businesses by term and location and get ratings, review counts, categories, address, coordinates, and photos back as structured JSON. 8 endpoints documented below.

Send a search term (e.g. "pizza") and a location — neighborhood, city, state, or zip code — to the Yelp search endpoint.
/yelp/search?term=pizza&location=San+Francisco%2C+CA reported total 240 and returned 20 rows. A business alias such as pequods-pizza-chicago-3 then opens /yelp/business (rating 4, review_count 9,033, price $$), /menu (74 items), /photos (total 6,202, paged by limit and offset) and /reviews (paged the same way).
/yelp/business/{alias}/reviews/search?term=crust returned 20 review excerpts, and /reviews/highlights returned 5 highlights with review counts. /yelp/geocode turns an address into coordinates with a yelp_available flag.
Use limit and offset to page through results; an empty results array is a valid no-match response.
search with limit 10 returned total 240 and offset 0. Each result has an alias-style id (kopê-house-san-francisco, with a non-ASCII character), an encoded_id, name, URL, photos and rating, so URL-encode ids before passing them to the business routes.
geocode for 1 Ferry Building, San Francisco returned San Francisco, CA, postal code 94105, county San Francisco County and coordinates 37.7954, -122.3936 with yelp_available true. Use the flag to check coverage before a search.
