GET/kick/categoriesapiKey2 credits/request
Returns Kick's top-level categories (Games, IRL, Music, Gambling, Creative, Alternative, Chat Roulette) with id, name, slug and icon. These slugs are the exact values the category parameter of kick-subcategories takes. Kick's website and its mobile app each list one parent the other omits (Gambling and Chat Roulette), so this call reads both and returns their union; icon is empty for a category only the app lists. The lists are read live from Kick.

Returns one page of Kick's live-stream directory: title, viewer count, start time, language, mature flag, tags, category, thumbnail and the channel for each live broadcast. sort is viewer_count_desc (the default, most viewers first) or featured. language filters to one stream language by code (kick-languages lists the languages Kick shows in its own picker; the directory accepts a wider range of codes than that list, and an unrecognized code returns a 400), and category_id filters to one category by the numeric id from kick-subcategories or kick-search-categories. limit is 1 to 100 (default 24). Page onward by passing the previous response's next_cursor as after; next_cursor is empty on the last page.

Returns one page of Kick's game and activity categories (Just Chatting, Grand Theft Auto V, ...) ordered by current viewers: id, name, slug, parent category, tags, viewers, mature flag, banner and kick.com link. category restricts to one top-level category by slug from kick-categories (a parent Kick adds later is accepted too). page is 1 to 20 and limit is 1 to 32 (default 24) because Kick silently caps both; total is the size of the whole catalog (over 18,000) while reachable is how many entries these limits can reach, so use kick-search-categories to find a category outside the first pages.
