Search Bonhams auctions and lots across current and historical sales, and get normalized auction and lot facts including realized prices as JSON. 5 endpoints documented below.

Call /bonhams/auctions/search with an optional free-text q across auction title and department names. status defaults to upcoming, matching bonhams.com's own Upcoming Auctions page — pass past to browse the historical archive (the site's separate Auction results view) or all for both.
Pass an auction id to /bonhams/auctions/{id} for its title, category, department, country, currency, sale dates, and lot count — historical and ended auctions resolve too, not just live ones. Then call /bonhams/auctions/{id}/lots for that auction's normalized lot listing, optionally narrowed by department or a free-text query.
Call /bonhams/lots/search when you don't already know an auction id — it spans every auction, current and historical, including sold/prices-realized lots, filterable by department, country, and a GBP-normalized estimate price range, in a sort order you choose.
Call /bonhams/lots/{auctionId}/{lotNumber} for that lot's title, estimate range, hammer/realized price once sold, sale date, category, department, and lot number, plus one representative thumbnail.
/bonhams/auctions/{id}apiKey1 credit/requestReturns one Bonhams auction's facts by id: title, category, department, country, currency, sale dates, and lot count. Unlike the search endpoint, this is not restricted to upcoming/live auctions -- a historical/ended auction id resolves too.
Required: id.

/bonhams/lots/searchapiKey1 credit/requestSearches Bonhams lots across every auction, current and historical -- including sold/prices-realized lots -- optionally filtered by department, country, a GBP-normalized estimate price range, and/or a free-text query, in a caller-selected sort order. Without a query and without an explicit sort, results are ordered by most recently active sale date first.
Optional: q, department, country, min_price_gbp, max_price_gbp, sort (5 allowed values: relevance, recency, price_high, price_low, lot_number), page, per_page.
