Use Crawlora's The National API endpoints to extract supported public The National data as structured JSON. This documentation covers 5 active endpoints including Get The National article content, Get a The National author profile, Get The National section headlines, Get The National top stories, and related APIs. Developers can use these endpoints for monitoring, enrichment, research dashboards, internal data pipelines, and agent-native workflows without maintaining platform-specific scraping code. Each endpoint page documents authentication, request parameters such as url, section, cURL examples, response examples, response schemas, errors, credit cost, and Playground testing. Send requests to the Crawlora API with an x-api-key header, review usage and plan limits on pricing, and test safe sample requests in Playground before moving the workflow into production.
Choose an endpoint, send an authenticated request with the x-api-key header, and inspect the normalized JSON response. The examples below use the public Crawlora API base URL and the same endpoint catalog used by Playground.

The National API endpoints/national/articleapiKey2 credits/requestReturns article metadata and the body served to an anonymous visitor for one canonical The National story URL. The endpoint does not bypass subscriber or access gates and reports paywalled when the page marks content as restricted.

/national/headlinesapiKey1 credit/requestReturns current The National stories from a public Arc category RSS feed. Pass one of the editorial section slugs from national_sections. A valid category with no current stories returns an empty items list.

/national/newsapiKey1 credit/requestReturns current The National UAE stories from its public Arc RSS feed. Article and section extraction uses anonymous public responses.

/national/sectionsapiKey1 credit/requestReturns all 57 editorial categories in The National's Arc section sitemap taxonomy that are accepted by national_headlines. Podcast, newsletter, puzzle, partner and promotional surfaces are excluded.
