API Reference
Use Crawlora's Philstar API endpoints to extract supported public Philstar data as structured JSON. This documentation covers 5 active endpoints including Get Philstar article content, Get a Philstar author archive, Get Philstar section headlines, Get Philstar top stories, and related APIs. Developers can use these endpoints for monitoring, enrichment, research dashboards, internal data pipelines, and agent-native workflows without maintaining platform-specific scraping code. Each endpoint page documents authentication, request parameters such as url, section, cURL examples, response examples, response schemas, errors, credit cost, and Playground testing. Send requests to the Crawlora API with an x-api-key header, review usage and plan limits on pricing, and test safe sample requests in Playground before moving the workflow into production.
Choose an endpoint, send an authenticated request with the x-api-key header, and inspect the normalized JSON response. The examples below use the public Crawlora API base URL and the same endpoint catalog used by Playground.

/philstar/articleapiKey2 credits/requestReturns public Philstar article metadata and body paragraphs from a canonical article URL. Philstar serves full stories to anonymous readers, so no paywall flag is needed.

/philstar/authorapiKey2 credits/requestReturns one Philstar author's public archive: name, profile photo when set, and the most recent stories on the first page of the archive. Authors are identified by the numeric id in the byline link (philstar.com/authors/<id>/<name>).

/philstar/headlinesapiKey1 credit/requestReturns the current headlines from the first page of one public Philstar section page (Philstar publishes no crawlable feeds, so this reads the section page itself).

/philstar/newsapiKey1 credit/requestReturns the current Philstar (Philippine Star) top stories from the public homepage: the latest, trending and featured stories with summary, byline, thumbnail and the publication date encoded in the story URL.
