Call /1stdibs/categories for handbag category slugs (e.g. shoulder-bags), the accepted sort values (recommended, newest, price-high, price-low, popular), and the five price presets /1stdibs/search's price parameter accepts. Pass an optional category slug to /1stdibs/designers for the designer filter values discovered from that category page.
Send q plus any combination of category, designer, color, period, location, gender, origin, price (one of the five presets) or price_min/price_max, on_sale, measurements, this_week, returnable, and recognized_seller/top_seller to /1stdibs/search. per_page is 60 or 120, and sort takes the same five values as categories.
Pass a listing's own url (from any search result's url field) to /1stdibs/product for its USD price when available, brand, category, description, availability, and images.
On 2026-10-30 /1stdibs/search for gucci reported total 7,355 and returned 60 per page, designers returned 27, and categories returned 5 with sort and price presets.
