Top 20 markets by listing supply
Across the 4,968,367 listings that carry a rating, the average is 4.81★ and 91.9% sit at 4.5★ or above. Airbnb’s review distribution is famously top-heavy — a 4.7★ listing is below average, not above it — so a rating filter only really bites at the very top of the scale. About 35.900000000000006% of listings have no rating yet and are excluded from the average rather than counted as zero.
Median nightly rate for listings priced in USD (about 18.7% of the census carries a captured price, nearly all in USD — so these compare across countries). Switzerland, the Netherlands and the US top the majors; Brazil, India and Southeast Asia sit well below.
7,850,222 distinct listings, 60+ countries
Airbnb's own ~8M figure; third-party estimates to ~9M
Listings are discovered logged-out via a systematic map-grid sweep and deduplicated to one record per listing, then reverse-geocoded to a country. The result is a near-complete census of public supply — 87–98% of Airbnb’s stated ~8.0M–9.0Mglobal inventory. “Distinct listings observed” runs higher than a platform’s “active” count, because more properties are listed than are bookable at any given moment; the figures are a live snapshot from July 3, 2026 and grow as the crawl runs.

Public Airbnb listings are discovered logged-out through a systematic map-grid sweep that subdivides where supply is dense, then deduplicated to one record per distinct listing and reverse-geocoded to a true country. The published dataset is aggregate-only — per country, metro and geographic cell — with small cells suppressed below a minimum listing count. No host names, photos or review text are collected or published.
“Average rating” is computed over rated listings only; an unrated listing is excluded, not scored zero. Nightly prices are reported per currency (the display currency is normalized during collection, so the medians here are USD and broadly comparable). Superhost status is recorded when a listing is scanned, so the observed Superhost count is a lower bound. All figures are a live snapshot from July 3, 2026.

-H "x-api-key: $CRAWLORA_API_KEY"The dataset holds 7,850,222 distinct Airbnb listings, deduplicated to one record per listing, across 60+ countries. That is roughly 87–98% of Airbnb's own stated global inventory of about 8.0M–9.0M active listings, making it a near-complete public-supply census.
The published dataset is aggregate-only. Every API response is a market rollup — per country, per metro, or per geographic cell — with listing counts, ratings, nightly-price bands and Superhost share. It never returns individual listings, host names, photos or review text, and thin cells (below a minimum listing count) are suppressed. Data is collected logged-out.
Nightly prices are reported per currency. About 18.7% of listings carry a captured nightly price, and almost all of those are denominated in USD, so the per-country USD medians shown here are broadly comparable across markets. The US median is $231, France $123. Prices without a captured currency are excluded rather than mixed together.
Superhost status is recorded when a listing is scanned, so the aggregate Superhost counts are a lower bound rather than a precise rate — a listing not yet re-scanned is counted as non-Superhost. For that reason we do not headline a Superhost percentage here; the API exposes the observed Superhost count so you can judge coverage yourself.
Every listing in this snapshot was observed within the crawl window (snapshot July 3, 2026). Counts are distinct listings observed, which runs higher than a platform's 'active' tally — Airbnb lists more properties than are bookable at any moment. The API's active_since parameter lets you filter to listings seen on or after a date for a point-in-time view.
Yes. The dataset is queryable over Crawlora's REST API and via MCP: search market rollups by country or metro, fetch one country's full profile (top metros, price percentiles), facet any dimension, or pull a geohash-grid density map around a coordinate. All aggregate-only, billed pay-on-success.
Query 7.9Mlistings’ worth of market structure — supply, ratings and nightly-price bands by country, metro and geo cell — through one REST API. Clean JSON, aggregate-only, pay on success.
