Try the OpenDota league directory API

Returns every league ID and its source name, ticket, banner and tier. The source list is large and can include historical or excluded leagues. Filter `tier` locally; `unrated` selects source rows whose tier is blank. The response echoes tier_filter. Use a returned ID with opendota_league_matches.

Response behavior

- The upstream endpoint returns the complete directory; it had 10,411 rows (about 1.06 MB) in the 2026-10-27 live check. - Tier filtering is applied locally to that directory. The source API has no tier query parameter. - When a filter is supplied, `tier_filter` echoes the requested filter value. - Tiers observed live on 2026-10-27 were `amateur`, `excluded`, `premium`, `professional`, and blank. `unrated` is this endpoint's filter label for blank source tiers. - League data is cached for up to 24 hours.
