The same snapshot's two other charts, so all three Steam rankings are crawlable here. Most Played orders by yesterday's peak concurrent players rather than the live count; Top Sellers is Steam's US revenue ranking for the week, with last week's rank alongside so climbers and new entrants stand out.

Top Sellers is ranked by revenue, not units, so a $60 launch can outsell a free-to-play giant with far fewer buyers; that is also why the list churns weekly while the most-played chart barely moves. Price is the US list price at snapshot time, before discounts.
GET /datasets/steam-charts/search takes a chart (concurrent, most_played, or top_sellers), plus optional country (top sellers), date (any past snapshot; omit for latest), app_id, sort and paging.
chart=concurrent — live in-game player counts (global).chart=most_played — 24h peak concurrency (global), with week move.chart=top_sellers&country=us — US sales rank, with price.date=YYYY-MM-DD — pull any past day; diff two days for movers.Fields per row: chart, country, snapshot_date, rank, app_id, name, concurrent_in_game / peak_in_game, final_price_cents, review_summary.

-H "x-api-key: $CRAWLORA_API_KEY"Three of Steam's official store charts: "concurrent" (games ranked by live in-game players, global), "most_played" (ranked by 24h peak concurrency, global, with Steam's week-over-week move) and "top_sellers" (Steam's US revenue-ranked sales chart, with each game's price). Concurrent and most-played are global; top sellers is per country (US today). Query the chart you want with the chart= parameter.
A time series. One document is written per chart, country, day and rank, so every daily snapshot accumulates — you can query any past day with date=YYYY-MM-DD and diff two days to compute movers. Omitting date returns the latest snapshot. The current snapshot is September 8, 2026.
GET /datasets/steam-charts/search with chart (required), plus optional country, date, app_id, sort and paging. It reads a stored index — no live scraping or proxies — and returns clean JSON. Billed on success like the rest of the Datasets API. The aggregate view on /steam-charts is open under CC BY 4.0.
The Steam games dataset is a catalog — one enriched record per game (price, review tier, owners, genres, community tags). This charts dataset is temporal — daily rankings by players and sales. Use the games dataset to describe the catalog; use this one to track momentum over time.
